Unlike the radiant style of sauna which can only be used dry, there are two ways of using our saunas, wet and or dry. Both work differently with varied benefits - knowing the difference will be important in helping you to experiment.

Wet Sauna (Steam Sauna)
The heat source will produced the high temperature which will heat the volcanic rock. The rocks radiant such an extreme temperature that once splashed with water, the water vaporizes very quickly causing steam. In a wet sauna, you sweat, which rids your body for unwanted toxins. Regular wet sauna visits can decrease certain illnesses. In the high temperatures some viruses cannot live.
Dry Sauna
A dry sauna is just that, heat source and volcanic rock, just no water. The heat is more tolerable. The benefits are to rejuvenate the skin through sweat, relieve tension and stress, and stimulate blood circulation. This affect happens more quickly with a dry sauna as the heat is more direct, and the body can stand the heat for longer periods of time.
